President Obama May Announce 19 Executive Orders on Gun Control Tomorrow

Although there is no Constitutional authority for the President to infringe on the Second Amendment, the elected leader of the “free world” is considering declaring 19 new gun laws for American citizens. The press conference, originally planned for today, will be carried live tomorrow.

"President Obama will unveil a sweeping set of gun-control proposals at midday Wednesday, including an assault weapons ban, universal background checks and limits on the number of bullets that ammunition clips can hold, according to sources familiar with the plans."

The announcement, which press secretary Jay Carney said is scheduled for about 11:45 a.m. at the White House, is also expected to include a slate of up to 19 executive actions that the Obama administration can take on its own to attempt to limit gun violence.

News media can only speculate on what the president will actually announce, but the premise that Mr. Obama has the legal authority to declare any gun control regulations is false

Regardless of what the President announces, the Congress is responsible for legislation. Needless to say, the president knows this, and therefore, his gambit may backfire politically in the short term. Circumventing the law of the land and imposing gun control by executive fiat would be to simultaneously break the presidential Oath of Office to “preserve, protect and defend” the Constitution of the United States and to defy the will of the people, as voiced in previous elections

EDITOR:  This proposed executive order action is completely unconstitutional.  His signature on these orders would be treason,  cut and dry.
