You might expect that "strong arm robberies" would be committed by big gruff ex-cons, or desperate strung out druggies, or criminal gangs.. You might be wrong. People and their actions dont always fit the stereotypes. Situational awareness is important. Don't let yourself get fooled by normalcy bias.

CHICAGO Police have issued a community alert on the Southwest Side warning residents of strong arm robberies committed by two 16-year-old girls.

The suspects are described as two girls, both 16 years old. One is between 4-foot-8 to 5-foot-2 and between 100 to 115 pounds. The other is between 5-foot-3 to 5-foot-6 and 115 to 150 pounds.
