Castle doctrine prevails: Two cleared in fatal shooting


"Castle doctrine" refers to a law that allows people to use deadly force to protect themselves against an intruder in their home.
Prosecutors have declined charges against two arrested in the shooting death of an intruder in April because they said the killing was justified under Missouri's "castle doctrine" law.

Texas has "Castle law" as well.
