An east Houston homeowner confronted burglars when they targeted his house Wednesday.
Ray Ridgeway said he heard glass breaking at his home in the 500 block of Woodhurst Street about 6:15 a.m. About 15 minutes later, three men with baseball bats tried to break his window and open his door, he said.
"I was standing there. I cocked my gun," Ridgeway said. "They heard that sound and took off running.
