Stayin' Alive: Armed and Female in an Unsafe World

By Paxton Quigley

Paxton Quigley is a nationally recognized authority on personal safety. She has taught thousands of women her strategies and now provides a guide on how females can arm themselves for self-defense.

At 160 pages, this guide is concise, easy to access, and packed with facts, advice, and survival strategies. Quigley emphasizes the importance of awareness, boundary setting, and resistance to attacks.

According to the U.S. Department of Justice, 27 percent of American women keep a gun in the house and 37.6 million females either own or have rapid access to guns.

This is the classic title that explains why.

Coming from a liberal, Midwestern, anti-gun background, Paxton Quigley turned around when her best friend was raped one morning in her home in Los Angeles. After witnessing the physical and psychological damage, Quigley vowed not to let it happen to her. She reviewed her options and decided to learn how to shoot a handgun for her own self-defense.

She went on to become a spokeswoman for Smith & Wesson and over the years has traveled the world teaching thousands of women how to safely handle and shoot handguns.

That doesn't sound like fear mongering for money. It sounds like a deep, life altering personal experience, and a proactive approach. Others seeking the same preparedness might want to arm them selves with a copy of such information, as well as a firearm... I seriously doubt that she "got rich off of it"!
