New in the news - Apparently “youths” (aka criminal gangs) have begun using internet social networking utilities (twitter , etc) to form “flash mobs” - only this time they are for committing crimes instead of "artistic" or other peaceful gatherings.
I hear that it started off as swarming convenience stores and just shoplifting , then quickly escalated to malls (store with more expensive items, such as clothing). Now in Chicago at least it’s to beat and rob random people. 20-30 of them show up and then apparently mug someone at random.
