Three men held a woman at gunpoint and robbed her of cash and other belongings about 10 a.m. Wednesday in the 300 block of Avian Drive, Vallejo police Sgt. Herman Robinson said.
The 22-year-old woman was inside her apartment and alone after home repair workers left to get supplies, Robinson said. Apparently the front door had been left open and three men came in, all carrying handguns, Robinson said.
One held a gun to her head, but due to a language barrier she was unable to understand what they were saying, Robinson said. They forced her into the master bedroom and made her lay down on the bed at gunpoint while they rifled through the dresser drawers and found an undisclosed amount of cash, he said.
The men also rifled through the children's bedroom and then took the woman into the dining area where they went through her purse, took her ATM card and then threatened her to get the PIN number, Robinson said.

well for retard who put this post out jus to point out given such lady if she had a handgun in her possesion and practiced to shoot it.- Then when those robbers ran in and given the situation she would of kept her gun close at hand, the situation would of been completely in reverse with three men hurriedly trying to get out of there screaming for mercy and swearing never to rob another innocent person ever again.

Thirdly, Yes, the article may have turned out differently if she had been a gun-owner wheth ready access to a firearm at the time in question, and proper training in it's use; At least she would have had an option.
